Project overview

Situated on the corner of Symonds and Wakefield Streets, this brand new purpose built UniLodge accommodation is located conveniently and centrally for students attending The University of Auckland. The building offers 343 fully furnished and self-contained studio apartments with the lower levels of the building designed to provide an open and modern student living environment.

Keeping in mind the study-life balance, UniLodge students can share the building's kitchen, breakout and recreation facilities including BBQ area, courtyard, indoor games tables, social meeting areas and theatre room.

Solution

Vidak was engaged by Lamont & Co to offer a high end and durable solution that drew on experience gained through working in the commercial environment.

This involved Vidak providing a full service for all the common spaces in the building, including delivering, sourcing and coordinating the supply of all furniture and other related items such as a BBQ cook top and table tennis + pool tables, allowing for a streamlined delivery of the project.
